Community Tree Planting:
- Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful needs volunteers to help with a Girl Scout tree-planting event. They are looking for someone who can share their tree knowledge with young scouts and support the event. About 30 minutes. If you are willing to help out, please reach out directly to Nick Dahl (ndahl@rrnm.gov).
The event will occur at Mountain View Park, 6441 Grayson Hills Drive NE, on April 18th at 9:00 AM.

- Dear Community,
La Cosecha CSA, Agri-Cultura Network and Los Jardines Institute, is offering an engaging two-day educational workshop for youth ages 16β25, and we invite your program to share this opportunity with students and families.
Healthy Soil & Pollinators Workshops provide hands-on learning experiences focused on:Understanding and protecting local pollinators
Soil health and Indigenous food forests
Community leadership and intergenerational learning
πΉ Youth receive a $25/day stipend (limited availability)
πΉ Breakfast and lunch provided
πΉ Builds environmental awareness, teamwork, and real-world skillsVolunteer Opportunities- (Stipend included upon completed service, limited availability)We welcome volunteers of all ages to support this event including students completing service hours.. Volunteer roles may include event support, set-up, break down, sign-ups, and trash/clean up.
